Young Professionals Executive Board
Hailing from Uganda, Patricia Ssebazza grew up in Nova Scotia where she obtained her degree in Pharmacy before relocating to Toronto in 2009.
Patricia’s professional career consists of employment with Sobeys Pharmacy for the past 6 years. Initially as a Relief Pharmacist, Patricia provided coverage at several pharmacies that were short-staffed. More recently as a Pharmacy Manager at Sobeys on Front St, where she continues to provide pharmaceutical care to each customer she encounters.
An integral part of Patricia’s life is her passion and dedication to her community. She is a volunteer at her church’s (Kingdom Covenant Ministries) Saturday School Program where she works with children from Grades 1-12 and assists them with any homework or areas of difficulty. In addition, Patricia periodically conducts talks on various health topics to a group of seniors at the St Lawrence Community Centre. Moreover, Patricia not only volunteers her services while in Canada but also overseas while on Medical Missions- the most recent one being Haiti with an organization called Fellowship of Associates of Medical Evangelism (F.A.M.E). She is also a member of the Young Professional Executive for the Black Business Professional Association (BBPA).
