A few of the awards that’s received as a result of his efforts include the Ryerson University Student Campus Centre Community Builder Award, the Ryerson University Anti Oppression Master in Social Work Award, as well as the Nancy C. Sprott School of Social Work Leadership Award. As a result of his extensive work in human rights and equity-based community organizing, upon graduation he plans to continue his work as a lawyer with an interest in child welfare.
