Warren Salmon

Warren Salmon is the President of Black Board International and First Fridays. Warren founded Black Board International (, a software company, in order to provide a variety of technology-based products and services with culturally inclusive content. He also started First Fridays in Toronto, a monthly business and community networking event. The event promotes networking, career and business opportunities and features a variety of businesses, organizations, professionals and artists and it is expanding to other cities.

As somebody who started Softec Software Services while he was in his second year of University, and signed contracts with a number of large organizations including XEROX, Citibank, Apple, IBM and the City of Toronto, Warren has had years of experience in networking. He has even received a BBPA Harry Jerome Award for Technology and Innovation. He is recognized for his dilegence towards promoting networking in the Black community.
