Ugochi Nwabueze is a technology management professional with almost a decade of experience in IT and telecommunications infrastructure deployment and management.
In her current role as senior technology consultant at Telus’ technology strategy division, she is responsible for technical end-to-end planning, design, deployment and operation of network infrastructure as well as service-based projects.
She has worked for organizations like Ericsson and MTN, with a brief stint at Chevron. Her dedication and drive for excellence earned her recognition for outstanding performance in 2016 and 2017 by the CTO of MTN.
She is passionate about giving back to the community and volunteers as a TelusWise ambassador, delivering internet safety workshops at school and community centers. She is also a longstanding member of the Association of Volunteers in International Service ( AVSI).
In the role of BBPA technology director, she brings a wealth of technical management experience, collaboration skills, can-do spirit, drive for excellence and a willingness to contribute to the growth of the organization and larger community.
Ugochi has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Lagos and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA program at the University of Fredericton.
