BBPA 2022 Annual General Meeting Notice
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA) will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, (Virtually) for the following purposes:
- Receive Auditors Report
- Present the Annual Report
- Elect Officers
1 – Receiving the audited financial statements of the Association for the year ending March 31st, 2022, and for the Treasurer’s report.
2 – To have the membership approve the 2022-2023 Auditor.
3 – To elect Directors for the following positions:
- Board Chair (2 year term)
- Vice Chair (1 year term)
- Treasurer (2 year term)
- Corporate Governance
- Corporate Secretary (2 year term)
- Communications Director (2 year term)
- Membership Director (2 year term)
- Director at Large (2 year term)
- Director (1 year term)
The Nominations Committee along with members shall nominate candidates for the various vacant positions in accordance with Article 7.10 of the Constitution.
All nominations received from the membership shall be in writing addressed to the Secretary of the Nominations Committee and accompanied by the written consent of the member(s) nominated together with a copy of the nominee’s resume, application and nomination form(s). All written nominations must be received by the Nominations Committee no later than Friday, November 9, 2022.
