Let’s talk business, civic engagement, and politics

The BBPA and Operation Black vote Canada is proud to host Dinner and Politics, ‘The Business Edition’. Dinner and Politics is designed for the Black community across Canada to engage with each other over a meal. Discussions develop strategies for increasing voter and civic engagement. As an organization whose mission is to advance Canada’s Black communities by delivering programs that support business and professional excellence, higher education and economic development we recognize the importance of dialogue which raises awareness and instills empowerment. It is essential that we exercise our autonomy and obligation to be involved in the political process.

“If you neglect to vote and the state eventually control all aspects of your family’s ‘ life, how will you explain your inaction to your granddaughter?”
– Denham Jolly, BBPA Founder.
