Speaking around the board table

What is it?

A public speaking club where leaders in the black community can gather together and discuss/debate various relevant topics in an open group setting, with the goal of getting different ideas and view points across.

Why should I join?

Public speaking is a highly sought after skill. If you want to be an executive, a salesperson, a trainer, or any other public facing professional, you need to be comfortable and embrace public speaking. Yet, public speaking anxiety is still the top fear for people. Up your speaking game and discover the power of great speaking with us. We will help members verbally communicate their thoughts and ideas in a more articulate way.

Who will lead?

Ms. Thando Hyman: she is a recognized dynamic leader. Her professional career includes over 20 years with the Toronto District School Board. Ms. Hyman is also known for her extensive community work. She is a board member of TVOntario.

General information

The club will run once a month  at the BBPA location.

Cost for the season

For members of the BBPA: $30
For non members: $150
