How to Donate
The BBPA National Scholarship Fund operates under the Black Business and Professional Association’s charitable registration number 108073503RR0001. Tax receipts are issued for donations of $20.00 or more.
The Fund depends on the support of individuals, corporations and other donors, to achieve its goal of helping Black youth attain post-secondary education. You can support the BBPA National Scholarships by donating to our General Fund, sponsoring a named scholarship, donating to the Endowment Fund or sponsoring the Leaders of Tomorrow Program.
General Fund
By donating to the General Fund you will assist us in meeting our operating needs and funding core scholarships.
Sponsored Scholarships
Donors may sponsor a ‘named scholarship’ in an individual’s memory or in their company’s name. Please contact us if you wish to sponsor a scholarship.
Endowment Fund
Our endowment fund has been established to provide a secure financial base for the expansion of our core scholarships and is an important building block in creating a scholarship program that can be maintained in perpetuity. Contribute to the endowment fund and help us support the growing number of superbly qualified applicants who request our assistance each year.

Annual Choirfest Fundraising Event
Gospel music is an important element of the cultural identity of the Black community and this annual concert brings together some of Canada’s best gospel music artists to raise funds for the Scholarship Fund.
